OUR SCHOOL

"The Hazard Skills Training Centre in Clarendon has been providing certification for residents in collaboration with the Heart Trust/NSTA for many years. The programs the institution offers has assist many young persons to acquire readily employable skills for the world of work through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The skills training centre, which was established in 1997, has trained over 2,000 persons in welding, cosmetology, electrical installation, food preparation, and hospitality service and has been helping to address Jamaica's socio-economic development challenges.

Principal's Message

Life is not easy, and the trials you face on a daily basis will seem to never end at times, but in those trials, I want you to know that every situation is for the betterment of ones self. Never give up when all seems lost or when the situation gets hard, as its within these times that we find our true selves and our purpose. The individual who works the hardest will always be the one that wins the race of life.

The road to certification will be hard, but I believe that if you put in the work and do your best you will be successful. Don't give up on you, thrive to redefine yourself, thrive to be certified in your field of choice.
